Jeppiaar Institute of Technology is a Christian Minority Institution affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, an autonomous institution approved by AICTE, and certified with ISO 9001:2015. Established in 2011 by our Honourable Chairman Late Col. Dr. Jeppiaar, it sits amidst the Electronic Belt of Sriperumbudur, spanning 35 acres at Kunnam, Sunguvarchatram, Sriperumbudur, Chennai. It operates under the Jeppiaar Remibai Educational Trust, driven by the vision of providing technical education in futuristic technologies with innovative, industrial, and social applications for the betterment of humanity. The institution boasts of pioneering initiatives such as the incorporation of ‘Innovative Cloud Computing Technology’ in its laboratories and Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) enabled classrooms equipped with wall-mounted Multimedia LCD Projectors. Offering undergraduate programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Computer Science & Business Systems, Mechanical Engineering, and postgraduate programs in Master’s in Business Administration. It stands out with accolades like securing the 6th-25th rank in ARIIA 2020 and receiving the Gold Rating in the 9th AICTE – CII Survey. Notably, the institution’s Ground Station, established on 28th January 2021, plays a crucial role in receiving telemetry data, complementing its involvement in significant projects like the upcoming launch of UnitySat – JIT Satellite aboard the PSLV-C51. Under the dedicated leadership of Dr. N. Marie Wilson, the Managing Director, the institute continuously strives to propagate technical and professional education, nurturing students with the requisite skills and attitude to excel in their respective fields, thereby serving as a launching pad for numerous aspirants towards global careers with the support of experienced faculty.
